If you accessed this site between August 1998 and September 1999, then you were in the midst of an amazing travel adventure and the ensuing travel updates from obscure cybercafes around the world. Tarantism co-guru, Chris Farrell, and his wife, Paige, quit their jobs in June of 1998, sold off nearly every single thing in their possession, researched, researched, researched, and proceeded to leave the United States on August 2, for an amazing 13 month adventure covering 5 continents, 23 countries, and some ungodly huge spiders.

We have been updating this website over this same time period in conjunction with their update emails from the road. All links to the left represent the exact emails that Chris and Paige sent out at that time, and have not been altered, updated, changed or tweaked at all in order to preserve the honesty and excitement of their experiences. Plus, now we've even added links with more traveling stuff...
